BOGA
a holistic moving arts concept

Welcome to BOGA, a transformative holistic moving arts concept that redefines well-being and enjoyment. Derived from the Sanskrit term "boga," which means the act of enjoying, my unique approach combines yoga asanas, Asian moving arts, breath work, and dance to create an unparalleled experience for the participants of my workshops and retreats.
At the heart of BOGA is the use of the "bo," a traditional wooden cane that connects participants with nature and their inner essence. Through graceful and elegant movements, I guide my guests into a meditative state of awareness, fostering nonverbal communication and playfulness. This unique experience not only promotes relaxation but also cultivates a deeper connection with oneself and others.
BOGA is particularly beneficial for couples, enhancing their partnership through playful and revitalizing workshops—aptly named "boga-playshops"—it is also suitable for individuals, group settings, and corporate contexts.
As a Visiting Expert I cooperate with leading wellness-retreats and hotels, as well as Yoga Studios across Europe.
As an innovative holistic movement method that integrates fluid motion, mindfulness, and energetic alignment, the exercises can be both dynamic and meditative—ideal for those seeking a new connection between movement, breath, energy flow and dance.
What are the benefits of Boga?
Enhanced Body Awareness: The long staff supports the body’s axis and helps with more conscious alignment in asanas and movement.
Deepened Mindfulness Practice: Focusing on the staff as an extension of the body enhances concentration and awareness of the present moment.
Gentle Joint Mobilization: Soft rotations and stretches are ideal for prevention and as a complementary practice for yogis with limitations or tension.
New Movement Impulses: Boga introduces playful, flowing elements into the practice, creating a balance between stability and flexibility. And supporting the connection to one’s inner child.
Enhancing Playfulness
Boga is also highly playful—it can be practiced alone, with a partner, or in a group-setting, creating a sense of joy, connection, and shared energy. With its dance-like elements, it brings fluidity, creativity, and a lighthearted approach to the festival - as it is also fun to look at.
